Three words that best describe you as a candidate:

Honest, Sincere, & Hardworking

Experience:

Served on city council since January 2023. I volunteered to be the Council Liaison for the newly formed Streets Committee. I retired from Dell as a Technical Account Manager supporting SAN Storage.

Why are you running?

Focus on Infrastructure, Public Safety, and City of Breezy Point Capital Improvement Plan. The items identified will need to be funded in a fiscally responsible manner, so we keep to a minimum the impact to the levy.

What sets you apart from the other candidates?

I thoroughly research the issues put before the council and solicit taxpayer input. Then vote for the best option that meets the need of the taxpayers in our community.

What are the top two or three issues facing the city?

Streets Capital Improvement Plan, Buschmann Road, and City of Breezy Point Capital Improvement Plan. I voted against the City Hall expansion/remodel because I felt the cost was too high and would impact the city’s ability to fund the issues I listed.

What are your plans to address those issues?

The goal for Streets Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) and Buschmann Road final design will be presented to council in December. Streets CIP funding and Cities Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) is under discussion by council as part of the 2025 budget. The issues identified taxpayer input is critical and need to be funded in a fiscally responsible manner, so we keep to a minimum the impact to the levy.

How would you prioritize area businesses, jobs and the economy?

In 2024 high inflation and interest rates impacted residents and businesses in our community. I would draw on my values and business experience to address questions/issues that arise for local and remote workers, and our local businesses.

How would you address the school district’s budget needs?
