My Experience is I have served on the Pillager school board for the last 8 years. I am also a business leader that manages a large corporation that can help bring insight to help with the school needs.

Why are you running?

Passion for Education I am deeply committed to improving educational outcomes for students. I want to ensure that Pillager provide high-quality education and support every child's success. Community Involvement being on a school board is a way to give back to my local community.

What sets you apart from the other candidates?

Effective Governance: making decisions that are data-driven and align with the best interests of students and the community. Keep a balance between policy-making and day-to-day administration.

What are the top two or three issues facing the school district?

Strengthening schools I am motivated to strengthen schools by supporting teachers, enhancing academic programs, or improving school facilities. Advocacy for students I am running to ensure that student needs and voices are heard.

What are your plans to address those issues?

Strengthening of schools starts with community engagement, connecting with community members is helpful to understand their concerns and priorities. Talking to parents, teachers, and students can help me gauge what changes or improvements are needed. I am also an advocate for the needs of our district, whether that involves securing funding, supporting educational programs, or addressing policy issues to help support Pillager student's.

How would you prioritize area businesses, jobs and the economy?

How would you address the school district’s budget needs?

Collaborate with local and state officials, I foster strong connections with local and state legislators. I am a promoter for policies and funding increases that benefit my school district. Explore alternative funding sources Pillager administration is good at seeking out grants from government agencies, foundations, and private organizations.
